"Chi Alpha (XA) is a like­ minded Christian, heterosexual family ­centered organization dedicated

to honoring God through home education. We believe in “close handed beliefs” like the beliefs

stated below (1­-6). Close handed beliefs are those that we consider to be necessary

components of authentic Christian community. We also believe in “open handed beliefs”

and the freedom in Christ. Open handed beliefs are those that we do not require uniformity

on. We are not saying that these things are not significant. Varying opinions or interpretations

on these open handed beliefs will not divide us as the body."
